Long the fae stood against the door, behind which she knew her old leader and friend was. Though if he currently reposed behind it, she was unsure, for his essence was vague upon the room. She'd not enter, for the need was not important and she had pledged only to disturb him if necessary. However, she could not stop herself from visiting now and then, feeling the pain in her heart at being separated from someone who was a brother and confidant to her. Kneeling, she slid a note beneath the door to the room in which he had taken his absence, though she was no longer certain if he was behind it or not. And if he was, did he sleep the repose of a vampire forsaking life? She was unsure and that made her worry. Upon the note, in perfect, green-inked lettering, read: 'Dementia, your absence is felt by us all and the coven aches for you. Elysium Caelin has grown strong under mine and Yuuki's care, but the stress is so great. I am not so selfish as to beg your return, but we miss you so. Be safe, wherever you might be, and be happy.' A sigh left quietly as she slowly turned and departed, leaving him to his quiet peace, a peace deserved. | Andraste Wealdaern (169103)
