I realize, of course, that the person on the screen is made out of words; I realize that s h e is constructed. But the construct bears a close and steady relationship to the person I am behind the screen. He may still love you. He probably does. He probably doesn`t know what he wants. He probably still thinks about you all the time. But that doesn`t matter. What matters is what he`s doing about it, and what he`s doing about it. And if he`s doing nothing, you certainly do nothing. You need someone who goes out of their way to make it obvious that they want you in their life. Especially when there`s history of hurt and and pain and misunderstanding. You need someone who reassures you at times...when you have nothing but unreasonable bouts, when you fear perahaps he`s changed his mind about you. Who fights with you to make you understand, to show you a little of reason when you can`t find the light...to make you stay. Someone who doesn`t give up so easily when you have.
