After last weeks exciting $100million+ jackpot I do agree with the feedback that is a lot of money for one person.

Firstly, let me get one thing out the way with this new lottery vs old lottery dispute.

In theory the old lottery was good, you pay 100 turns and for life you get a free hit at the daily lottery to win up to 100k i think it was. Indeed that was a good deal, but it wasn't helping the economy. That lottery was coded by a friend around 3 years ago when we were in college, it's a good system but it's no good with the game as it is now. The new lottery does 3 things. It takes some money out the game & gives a more fun higher jackpot for people to try and win. Last Saturday night there was over 150 people watching the lottery page on the main reset, that has never happened before. In summary, It helps the economy, it excites people, and makes lucky people very rich without damaging the economy. The old lottery will not be put back in, so learn to enjoy this one!

Okay now onto what's new in version 2.1. 2nd and 3rd place winners! After reading the feedback i do believe that one person winning that huge jackpot is a bit too much. So as suggested I have added 2nd and 3rd place winners too. Here's how it breaks down:

1st place: 60% of jackpot
2nd place: 30% of jackpot
3rd place: 10% of jackpot.

I hope you agree this is a good step forward for the lottery, and I look foward to see how it plays out this saturday night.

I'll play with the lottery page layout of the previous winners as time goes on as i can't make my mind up how it should be displayed yet.
