Reign Of Blood News BlogFor all major news announcements for the online vampire game, Reign Of Blood.Keep Your Reign Of Blood Account SecurePosted on 15-Jul-2025I know security stuff is boring and you just want to shout "where's my Plasma?" at me but making sure your Reign Of Blood security settings and information are up to date is critical. There's been a pandemic of people losing access to their accounts due to no longer having access to their email accounts, and not having backup security settings set up. So I have decided to make some tweaks and also create this blog post to go over the options to make sure you never lose access to your sweet, sweet Plasma stash. Check Your EmailThe most important thing you need to do is make sure the email you have used to signup to Reign Of Blood is currently valid and you have access to it. If you lose access to your email address that you're using on Reign of Blood, you could lose access to your Reign of Blood account. Backup Email AddressYou can set up a backup email address which can be used to receive access codes to reset your password should you lose access to your primary email. Although this method is done manually via our support email to make sure we can verify you, should it ever come to this. Retiring The Security PhraseThe security question and answer has been retired and will no longer be used. We're retiring it in favour of verifying you with your backup email address (above) and/or phone number (below). Phone NumberYou can now add your phone number to your Reign Of Blood account. We're not doing any sort of SMS pinging just yet as it's actually quite cumbersome to set up and often comes at a significant cost; however, I am implementing it as another way for you to recover your account should that need arise. We will NOT be using your phone number for anything else. Our privacy policy has been updated to reflect the collection of phone numbers. Disable Login With IDYou have the option by default of logging into Reign of Blood using your ID or your email address. Your ID is public knowledge, so to increase security on your account, you can disable the ID log option, resulting in only being able to log in with your email and password. New Security LogA new security log has been added where account-level security updates and changes are logged so you can make sure any actions taken on your account were done by you. This includes password resets, email changes, security option changes and more. Select logs will also be sent to your personal news so you can double-check that action was indeed taken by you. ![]() You will find all these new and updates security features on the Account & Security section on your Account Page. Please do take the time to update your details to make sure everything is correct. Enjoy, Ash |
